My client is multi-billion hedge fund, with 100% growth YTD in AUM. They are looking for an experienced fund operations / accounting to join their team. Strong VBA experience is a must.

My client is multi-billion hedge fund, with 100% growth YTD in AUM. They are looking for an experienced fund operations / accounting to join their team. Strong VBA experience is a must.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily operational flows (e.g. cash and position reconciliation, validation and matching of trade confirmations, settlement, cash management, margin usage, stock borrowing, corporate action monitoring, download and review prime brokerage reports, brokerage account opening, etc).
  • Work closely with the team member to report the daily estimate NAV and monthly NAV in an accurate and timely manner
  • Design, develop and maintain project reports in Excel format with VBA
  • Act as the contact person for fund related inquiries initiated by internal (fund manager, risk management and performance, settlement, finance, investor relations) and external (auditors, tax advisors, fund administration, custodian, legal advisors) counterparts
  • Coordinate with Fund Administrator of all funds to ensure the official NAV calculation will be performed properly that could be reconciled with the internal fund accounting records in the system

    • Qualification and requirement:

  • University or college degree is required with preference for majoring in accounting, business, mathematics, finance or economics
  • Minimum 5 years of Fund accounting or Fund operation experience.
  • Strong VBA experience is a must
  • Excellent communication and organization skills on relationship management of internal and external counterparts
  • Fluent English and Mandarin is required
