The appointee(s) will assist in various project and research activities for the "Career and Life Adventure Planning for Youth Project (CLAP for Youth@JC)" in the Faculty of Education (supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust).

Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree plus at least four years' relevant post-qualification work experience (for Research Associate) or a doctoral/PhD degree (for Postdoctoral Fellow) in an education-related or statistical-related discipline.

Applicants for Research Assistant should have a Bachelor's degree an education-related or statistical-related discipline, preferably with at least one year's post-qualification.

Applicants should have (i) strong statistical and analytical skills; (ii) good writing skills in both Chinese and English; (iii) good interpersonal and communication skills; (iv) the ability to produce high-quality, detail-oriented work; (v) strong initiative and team work spirit; and (vi) self-motivation and the ability to work independently. Knowledge and research skills of statistical software is required.

Duties include (a) assisting in literature search and review; (b) performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis; (b) carrying data mining, analysis, synthesis, visualization and presentation; (c) converting data into reportable formats for presentations; (d) writing reports and disseminating findings; (e) managing the e-platform and overall project evaluation; and (f) other related duties as assigned.

Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
