We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Test Manager.
The Test Manager roles within WPB Channel Transformation IT will have responsibility for overseeing and managing the deliverables throughout the agile development lifecycle and to ensure the new way of working in WPB Channel Transformation. The successful candidates will have a primary reporting line into the Senior Test Manager within the ASP region.
Principal Responsibilities Implement all test activities (Behaviour Driven Development, System API, Exploratory Test, Accessibility Test etc.) are adhere to the Global Test Strategy Work across all global activities and support the across functional team in ensuring any testing related dependencies / touch points are in place Represent testing at Scrum meetings and all other key project meetings and provide a single point of accountability and escalation for testing within the scrum teams Build a cohesive team with Automation Test Engineering and Exploratory Testers whom could be across different cultures and locations Facilitating the definition of the end to end Test Environment to support the Test approach for Acceptance and Exploratory Work with backend fulfilment test manager/lead to ensure end to end testing is completed where required with little or no duplication with consideration of regression test coverage required Establish effective working relationships across other areas of HSBC, e.g. Business Product Owner, Delivery Lead, Transformation Lead, and IT teams Provide recommendations to the Product Owner and/or other project stakeholders on the product readiness to go live Provide on-going input into the overall process improvement of the Testing discipline Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality deliverables and testing related activities within the agile development lifecycle. Represent testing across the project and be accountable for defining, shaping and agreeing the testing schedules in context of the whole project schedules Proven ability to drive and lead testing activities and motivate people to achieve towards a common objective Set the direction and create an environment in which self and others succeed Ability to resolve testing related impediments together with the scrum team Proven ability to matrix/functionally manage individuals Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and be able to build effective relationships, trust and understanding through the management of testing and the related risks Strong organizational awareness and a detailed understanding of our Business and the Customer we are delivering for Be able to think and act strategically Active contribution to evolve the overall test strategy Ability to build relationships and successful teams located offshore and deliver maximum productivity Proven track record of delivery of medium to large projects and programmes
