Job Description

• Report to the CEO and provide support to the Group’s insurance brokerage businesses
• Lead the insurance team in achieving sales quota and ensuring compliance with the relevant laws, rules and regulations
• Deal with regulators on insurance brokerage matters
• Work and coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operation of insurance brokerage business
• Oversee and review the work of other insurance team members
• Identify new business opportunities, develop business strategies and ensure the implementation of business strategies, marketing plans and product launches
• Periodic review of insurance brokerage businesses, products and services, set improvement plans and ensure implementation
• Setup and update policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes, guidelines and other regulatory requirements

Candidate Specification

• Bachelor degree or above with major in finance or business or law
• Passing of HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 and IIQE Paper I, II, III, V licenses are MUST
• An eligible Responsible Officer approved by Insurance Authority
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in insurance industry, including at least 2 years’ management experience
• Satisfy “fit and proper” test imposed by Insurance Authority
• Experience in seeking out opportunities to build the brand
• Experience in leading a team to achieve sales goals
• Familiar with the insurance brokerage related laws, rules and regulations
• Results oriented and be accountable for his/her team’s work
• Experience in developing the markets in the Greater China Region
• Fluent Mandarin speaker
