What will you be doing?

  • Assisting the line manager in the development of policies and procedures, and managing day-to-day support activities of the Equity Financing desk in Hong Kong
  • Focusing on dealing with Equity Finance which consists of SBL (stock borrow/ loan) and Secured-Funding
  • Having daily exposure to collateral and inventory management, pre-matching and fail management as well as exceptions and breaks management
  • Being responsible for resolution of queries raised by our traders, internal and external counterparties and technology teams

    • What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in trade support or middle office function with exposure in prime service middle office operations; preferably working in SBL area
  • Experience in cross cultural working environment
  • Strong knowledge on Asian market settlement process

    • Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience dealing with traders
  • Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines
  • Forensic / investigative nature, combined with a good eye for numbers and sequences
  • Ability to assist in the design and implementation of projects
