Assistant Collections Manager (Secured Collections)

WPB Chief Operating Office - Fraud and Credit Control Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Collections Manager (Secured Collections).

  • Lead a team of staff to manage delinquent accounts of the retail secured loan and SME loan portfolios
  • Liaise with external law firms on all legal aspects relating to recovery actions against delinquent customers and monitor the progress of court proceedings
  • Handle SME claims and property repossession
  • Assist in the process of Third party Risk Management related projects
    Prepare ad-hoc reports for management review
  • Handle customer complaints and perform necessary investigation
  • Liaise and communicate with counterparts in both internal and external to ensure coherence and convergence of action taken
Qualifications

Requirements

  • University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in debt recovery with exposure to SME claims process and property repossession procedures as an advantage
  • Strong self-motivation, good interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills
  • Good knowledge of application software (Skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • High integrity; knowledge in banking regulations and compliance
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
