About this role
The Client Business team is responsible for the strategy and distribution of BlackRock’s products, including open-end funds, closed-end funds, alternatives, and managed accounts, amongst others, working in partnership with institutions and financial intermediaries. We have teams across U.S. and Canada, EMEA, (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
As a Relationship Manager, you will develop, manage and strengthen relationships with private banks in Hong Kong. This would include identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic alliances with key partners to grow assets.
Maximize and grow sales across our platform with our market leading products and solutions. This would include ETFs, alternatives (Hedge Funds, Private equity, Private Credit, Real Estate investments) , mutual funds and bespoke solutions.
Strengthen existing client relationship and be the go – to person for our clients by having a deep understanding of our client’s needs.
Be the face of the firm, able to speak holistically across the value of the firm and full spectrum of the firm’s offerings.
Partner with key stakeholders including Marketing, Client Solutions, Product Development to drive marketing campaigns and business solutions.
Working closely with Regional Wealth team in exploring new business opportunities and strategic planning for the high-net-worth segment.
Represent BlackRock in the market place by being involved in public speaking and organising industry events and forums.
Partner with senior Client business leadership team in executing business plan, including well defined sales targets for major accounts
Responsible for providing performance data to clients, answering clients questions / queries on products and other sales related matters
Collaborate with regional and global teams on business opportunities within the Wealth segment.
Strong product knowledge with mutual funds, alternative investments (Hedge funds, private investments) will be an advantage.
You should be familiar with the mechanics and applications of ETFs, structured products and derivatives.
At least 6 years of proven track record as a front-line sales person in a high quality multi-product investment management environment. You should have expertise in marketing investment products to the Wealth segment in Asia.
You should have a University degree in any discipline. Having additional industry-based qualifications such as a CFA will be an advantage.
Proficient in both English and Mandarin
Possess a good understanding of the asset and wealth management industry in Asia.
