The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The School has been offering a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (MBA, MSc, MAcc, EMBA, MPhil, PhD) with over 4,600 students, as well as executive education. It has one of the most extensive alumni networks in the region, with over 40,000 alumni around the world.

The Alumni and Corporate Affairs Office is a specialised team in the Business School to grow and cultivate a healthy and robust alumni community with modern and relevant engagement. Major functions include alumni engagement via organising various events and activities, content development and management, data acquisition and management as well as key stakeholders%26rsquo; relations.

Reporting to the Administrative Director or her/his designate, the appointee will be a member of the team, and be responsible for (a) planning and executing events; (b) devising content strategy, content calendar planning, writing and management; (c) production and supervision, including that for events and content; (d) project management, including time and budget control; (e) post-event follow-up, including report and analysis; (f) liaising with internal and external stakeholders; (g) updating database; (h) providing assistance in formulating alumni affairs strategies and (i) performing other impromptu duties. Working at flexible hours and travelling for business purposes may be required.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor%26rsquo;s degree, preferably in communication, marketing, public relations, advertising, event marketing or related disciplines; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: ; (iii) at least 5 years%26rsquo; post-qualification experience, preferably in marketing, event management, content management, public relations, advertising or related fields; (iv) excellent project management skills, strong analytical thinking, can-do attitude, proactive, agile, independent, well-organised and detail-minded with good interpersonal skills; (v) a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English (proficiency in Putonghua would be advantageous); and (vi) proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as marketing automation tools will be advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for written test(s).

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
