Our client is a well-known Chinese based asset management institution and is hiring for a Legal & Compliance Manager with minimum 5 years of experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in legal & compliance sector ( primaily in legal) 
• At least 3 years of compliance experiences of buy side business (Investment advice and asset management)
• Good understanding of Daily/Routine jobs as a compliance manager, SFC licensing requirements, SFC rules and regulations to the buy side business (investment advice and asset management)
• Better have experiences in dealing with SFC inquires and inspections
• Have good understanding of fund structure, both segregated portfolios /accounts, private funds/authorised funds, their operates, legal and regulatory requirements
• Have good understanding of 1st and secondary market investments, funds/portfolio investment/trading monitoring/surveillance;
• Familiar with trading system compliance and risk rules set up, monitoring and approving process
• Legal document review and drafting 
• Company secretarial working experience a plus
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
• Immediately available is a plus

Value added skills and experiences:

 - Legal background, Academic qualification and Law firm working experiences 

 - Some experiences or understanding in private equity investment, deal structures, terms and conditions, reps and warrants, CPs and default liabilities

 - Can independently draft legal documents, negotiates with counterparty in legal terms in a transaction a plus
