The Security & Integrity Department is at the center of our core values in ensuring Integrity is preserved. Our work in Security, Integrity, Anti-Money Laundering, and Anti-Illegal Betting contributes to the Club’s management of financial crime and corruption risks. You will: Collate, analyse and synthesis raw data and information from a wide range of sources; Assists senior analysts in transforming such material into actionable intelligence in a range of formats including written reports and visual-led presentations to define and illustrate integrity and/or financial crime threats to internal and external stakeholders Under supervision and guidance of senior analysts and managers, works independently to produce smaller research reports from scoping to initial drafts; supports senior analysts on larger projects as required and directed Assist senior analysts in the maintenance of key Research databases such as media monitoring and website analysis; proactively seeks to identify trends and developments within these sources for further research Work in an efficient manner to complete all work tasks accurately and within the allotted timeframe; supports teammates and colleagues in wider department as required and appropriate; contributes to a culture of accountability, collaboration and respect in behaviour and actions Follow all methodologies, roles and responsibilities, processes and Standard Operating Procedures that underpin Due Diligence & Research programme; understands the structure and objectives of Due Diligence & Research, and how these support the wider aims and objectives of both S&I and the Club Proactively look to identify self-development areas and training requirements and works with manager to achieve these in order to gain a greater technical and/or managerial understanding of the Due Diligence & Research programme and other S&I sections
You should have: A degree in a subject which required a high level of critical analysis and the ability to analyse and synthesise complex information and conduct independent research. Examples include but are not limited to History, Journalism, Law, Criminology, Economics, Finance Preferably with two to four years' experience in a dynamic, fast-paced and numerate/analytical working environment. Previous working experience in a research, due diligence or compliance-related field would be an advantage. Strong investigative/analytical, communication, organisational and time management skills and an ability to work under pressure; problem solving and critical thinking skills A solid focus on meeting goals and dedication to providing excellent service; and experience in handling and analysing large volumes of information and accurate summarisation of data A strong ability to produce and communicate complex Due Diligence- and Research-related narratives and storylines across a wide variety of mediums in English Research and analysis experience including the use of commercial and open-source databases Excellent English and Chinese oral and written communication skills are essential Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint. Knowledge of i2 iBase and Analyst’s Notebook an advantage but not essential Data analytics & visualisation and/or programming skills an advantage but not essential. knowledge of racing and other sports industries in Hong Kong and internationally, and/or the betting industry, as well as the regulatory environment for either/both of these industries will be an advantage

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
