The Roles:

 The role is to support the development and execution of Reinsurance Solutions Greater China’s revenue growth strategy for Retro business in Greater China.

  • Support the delivery of service to our Greater China Retro clients, including traditional broking services and value added consultancy services
  • Support the execution of Greater China Retro marketing strategy, including managing existing relationship with core reinsurers, identifying and developing new markets, as well as managing reinsurer database
  • Support the development of new Retro business opportunities aligned to client need, including working on RFP and client proposal reports, as well as producing market intelligence reports
  • Support other projects upon request 

    • The Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ treaty reinsurance or retro broking or underwriting or actuarial experience
  • Good Understanding of global reinsurance market
  • Experience in broking is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience in overseas market, e.g. London, Bermuda or Singapore is preferred but not necessary
  • Capable of quantitative and qualitative analysis, basic knowledge of Cat modelling and actuarial pricing is required
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to write, present, negotiate and influence
  • Excellent project management skills

  • Speaking of Mandarin is preferred but not necessary
