Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of %26lsquo;Marketing Co-ordinator%26rsquo;)

The appointee will be responsible for (a) developing and implementing marketing strategies for the School; (b) maintaining websites and social media platforms; (c) designing and producing promotional materials and publications; (d) planning, organising and co-ordinating events, e.g. seminars and conferences; (e) liaising with internal and external parties locally and globally; (f) performing committee work; (g) supervising junior staff; and (h) performing other tasks as assigned by the School Director or his delegates.

Applicants should have (i) a recognised Bachelor%26rsquo;s degree; (ii) at least 3 years%26rsquo; post-qualification experience in corporate marketing, media communication, programme promotion and/or event management, preferably in tertiary education; (iii) sound knowledge in producing marketing materials (such as booklets, flyers and e-posts), relevant experience in co-ordinating and providing hands-on support for events (such as conferences, symposiums, ceremonies, seminars); (iv) a high level of computer literacy in MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint), website design and management, Windows applications, particularly graphic design software applications (e.g. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop), and video editing; (v) strong project management and multitasking skills in meeting tight deadlines; (vi) excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills; and (vii) an excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test. 

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
