Our Client, aleading retail broker with significant Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits portfolios, as well as a leading High-Net-Worth Life insurance broker, is looking for a contract Accounting Assistant.
Role and responsibility
- Manage and reconcile daily income receipts for clients' accounts
- Review the daily finance operation and ensure the daily operation is running smoothly
- Review payment vouchers and perform month end closing
- Involve in broking system changing project, e.g. assisting in data migration and UAT testing process, configuring functions in new system
- Work closely and collaborate with Finance & Operation teams
- Carry out ad hoc and other duties assigned from time to time
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years relevant working experience either in Insurance or Audit
- Detail-minded and good problem-solving, planning & project management skills
- Able to work under pressure and work independently
- Maintain good communication and co-ordination with team members
- Fresh grad will also be considered.
