Description:

Responsibilties:

• Perform analysis on local business performance and evaluate the distribution financial and strategic objectives for all entities in Asia
• Conceptualize and shape the product channel strategies to deepen penetrate in different customer segments to achieve growth in both market share and financial performance
• Work closely with local business units to develop customer centric programs and products to deepen penetration in different customer segment
• Research and benchmark market data in relation to products and services against key competitors in the region and make necessary changes to distribution strategy
• Provide commentary and insights to key business stakeholders to ensure all partner channels and customer segments are being maximized to drive customer acquisition and engagement  
• Support the development of new business and acquisitions across all channels by identifying and evaluating new distribution opportunities
• Participate in the preparation of business development pitches, presentation and competitive tenders and support due diligence in business development or M&A activities
• Support local business units to set objectives and develop annual strategies
• Prepare overall performance analysis; business cases and other strategic paper for Chief distribution officer for board meetings and business development presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with 10 plus years of working experience in insurance; management consulting or corporate strategy with Asia regionally coverage
• Prefer candidate with MBA or CFA or equivalent
• Working experience in the financial services sector is a MUST
• Strong strategic and analytical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Past experience running large scale distribution channel related project a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
