Description:

• Operate computer and associated systems/facilities according to prescribed standards and procedures, monitor performance and maintenance;
• Prepare jobs according to prescribed procedures, ensure their successful completion, check completeness and qualities of the computer output;
• Provide first line service to users and perform help desk activities using tools provided, carry out on-site inspection, and take recovery action according to prescribed procedures;
• Assist in setting up workstation or networked equipment, scheduling and monitoring computer equipment
• installation/relocation, and perform site preparation work;
• Handle logging and administrative reporting requirements and assist in preparing statistics and reports;

• Form 5 graduate or above, preferably with Certificate/Diploma in computer science related discipline. Fresh graduate will also be considered
• 2 years relevant experience in computer operation and customer support of a able data centre
• Solid experiences in administration of Linux / Unix platforms
• Solid experiences in administration of Microsoft Windows platforms and PC support
• Shift duties to support 24 hours' operation are required
• Self-starter, independent and Customer-oriented
• Good communication skill, fluent in both English and Cantonese
