The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering is now inviting applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor). Applicants in the following research areas will be prioritized: Synthetic biology and systems biology Product and process systems engineering, in particular in mathematical modeling and data analytics of complex chemical and/or biomolecular systems Advanced materials and smart manufacturing, in particular in applications addressing energy and environmental challenges
Applicants must have a PhDdegree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related disciplines.Successful candidates are expected to develop strong, independent andinnovative programs of externally sponsored research contributing to bothundergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as participate in services of theDepartment, the School and the University. Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
