The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

( This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance. )

You will be responsible for:

• assisting the planning of a performing arts venue and all its related preparation works;
• coordinating across departments for venue planning and other operations logistic issues;
• sourcing operations equipment and following up on the procurement process and equipment delivery;
• liaising with contractors, vendors and partners;
• maintaining smooth operation of the performing arts venue;
• providing operation and event support;
• providing administrative support; and
• handling ad-hoc assignments and projects as requested.

You should:

• possess a recognized university degree in hospitality, tourism, performing arts or equivalent;
• have 1 - 2 years relevant experience in performing venues, tourism and/or hospitality sector;
• may need to conduct site check inside constructions site;
• have good knowledge of front of house operation;
• possess good analytical and numerical sense;
• be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese;
• be proficient in software applications including Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and AutoCAD which will be an advantage; and
• require to work shift duty from Monday to Sunday and morning to evening.
