- Focusing on all aspects of execution activities related to all client-related orders on the Prime Synthetic desk
- Providing leadership to the broader Prime Client Sales and Trading Desk to ensure the highest level of client service delivery
- Having a proactive risk management and oversight for APAC EFG Synthetics book for country specials, and counterparty credit risk
- Working closely and cooperatively with the EFG HF Sales team to maximize client relationships, building on mutual opportunities and proposing trading opportunities
- Servicing and growing our business demand both externally with our Prime Brokerage (Hedge Fund client) and Street / Financial Institutions as well as our internal business
- Assisting in strategically developing equity inventory sourcing capacity with Hedge Funds and Real Money accounts to drive Financing/Collateral Management capacity
- Experience of Prime products and their practical applications
- Good communication skills with ability to appropriately manage client expectations
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadline
- Numeracy and proficiency in Excel packages
- Good working knowledge of the Equities and Prime product offering and how it can be utilised to the address the client's need
- Understanding of existing internal capabilities compared to client's short, medium and long term requirements
- Insights into industry practice and emerging trends, particularly as it pertains to the Asia region
- Focus on continuous improvement in client delivery in order to heighten the client experience

As a Barclays Vice President Equity Financing Sales, you will provide daily transactional flow coverage to Global Hedge Fund Clients to achieve their financing objectives through Barclays' suite of synthetics and cash prime brokerage offerings. These client needs will be addressed through a range of interactions including external broker dealers, sales, other internal desks and infrastructure partners.
