    What the day will look like

    As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective human capital solutions to clients across our key industry portfolio of insurance. You will combine your insurance industry knowledge with professional expertise across human capital management to help clients make better decisions. You will help support our growing practice in Hong Kong and be a key member of the insurance community practice within Asia Pacific.

    You will be supported by a team of client-focused and commercially savvy analysts and consultants with deep industry expertise. Together you will collaborate to design, enhance and maintain best fit people strategy and programs for clients across insurance and financial services.

    As a Consultant, you will provide thought leadership on diverse and complex human capital issues across the insurance sector. You will develop and nurture client relationships in a strategic location for the Asia Pacific region. You will display industry expertise and incorporate your knowledge of market trends of the insurance industry and its sub sectors, including property & casualty, life insurance, health insurance, reinsurance and insurance brokerage. You will leverage your industry knowledge in the pursuit and delivery of projects. You will also play an integral role in supporting the Human Capital Solutions market leader in developing and executing our go to market strategy.

  • Collaborate with practice leaders to customise content for industry relevance
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts to integrate solutions to address client needs across our human capital solutions practice and broader Aon business
  • Develop and grow industry expertise in Human Capital Solutions
  • Contribute as a key member of the Asia Pacific insurance community within Human Capital Solutions
  • Provide technical and strategic advice to Board and C-Suite stakeholders on complex people issues across the insurance and financial services sector

You would be joining a team of trusted advisors to boards and management across an array of specialist areas including governance, executive and broad-based reward strategy, incentive plan design, pay equity, compensation data, analytics and insights, people analytics, talent assessment, employee benefits, well-being, wealth solutions, workers compensation and employee health & safety.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience in in insurance and/or broad financial services and 10+ years experience in a similar hands-on consulting role
  • Professional expertise in people strategy, employee rewards design and implementation.
  • Desire and motivation to grow and manage client relationships
  • Ability to develop conclusions and fact-based advice from data and analytics
  • Ability to provide advice that is technically sound and strategically aligned to the client's organisational and people strategy
  • Experience advising Board and C-Suite stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to coach and develop teams
