• Data Centre operations and service provisioning.
• Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of Data Centre/ Server Room/ Hub Room/ IT Room facilities, such as Power, UPS, Chiller, Generator, Fire fighting system and BMS system
• Liaise with various parties such as contractors, engineers and technical staff for facility management services and fitting out project
• Handle the process of budgeting, tendering and supervision for customer's project, major repairing and maintenance work
• Prepare method statement and working procedure
• Provide facility management services including planned, routine maintenances and ah-hoc emergency calls
• Assist equipment setup and decommission in the rack
• Perform evaluation, monitoring, administration, and troubleshooting on network devices and services.
• Perform Level 3 Incident handling and escalation to upper tier
• Oversee delivery of infrastructure setup, including data/voice network setup, server rooms, servers, WiFi, security appliances, IP CCTV, IP Phone and structural cabling
• Review and manage ICT documentations, perform UAT and formulate reports on projects progress, problems, and solutions
• Update equipment inventory management system and rack information.
• Perform vendor co-ordination, arrange onsite access
• Follow procedures, instructions and checklists to complete tasks with good quality
• Ensure all client requests and other ad-hoc duties are processed in an efficient and timely manner
• Assist to handle in-house on-site services and supervise the performance of in-house technical staff
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• Over 6 years in relevant IT infrastructure roles
• At least 3 years I.T. support, networking and field service hand on working experience
• At least 3 years Data Centre hand on working experience.
• Experience in Windows operation an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and other protocols including use of troubleshooting tools
• Solid understanding of client/server, networking, and Internet technologies fundamentals
• Experience in supporting and servicing enterprise infrastructure environment.
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written Chinese (Cantonese) and English
• Understanding of data centre concepts (Space, Power, Cooling)
• Understanding of IT network concepts (Router, Switch, Circuit, Cable)
• Experienced in Data Centre facility, cabling and network fault recovery, etc will be an advantage.
• Possess professional certificates (i.e. MCSE,CCNA, CDCP, ITIL) is definitely an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to perform Off Office hours/ Over time duties (including Weekends and Holidays)
• Able to work independently.
