    Job Description

    Our client is a B2B marketplace with a business focus in connecting global electronics wholesalers to retail store-fronts. They currently operate within the United States and serves buyers from around the world and is expanding into Hong Kong. They have an opening for a Sales Development Representative.


    Role Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, generating, qualifying, and following up on leads and appointment setting for external sales team.
  • Collaboratively work with the sales, marketing team, and leadership to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Initiates lead/demand generation strategies that include inbound/outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Research and gather information on target industries, companies, and decision-makers to personalize outreach and create relevant talking points.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage activities and status of leads and clients.
  • Engage with leads to understand their business needs, challenges, and pain points, and effectively communicate how the company's products or services can address their requirements.
  • Sell the company's USP by comparing features and benefits.
  • Conduct discovery calls or meetings to qualify leads further, gather additional information, and determine their readiness to move forward in the sales process.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of clients and prospects.
  • Communicate USP and respond to enquiries efficiently by staying up to date on offerings, industry trends, and market conditions.



  • Requirements


    Experience/Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in any field from a recognized and accredited University. A post-grad degree is highly beneficial.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience as a sales development representative, preferably in an e-commerce or B2B environment.
    • Adequate knowledge of the Online Marketplace and the Ecommerce Industry in Hong Kong.
    • Experience in sales of electronics in Hong Kong
    • Strong business judgement with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management.
    • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (e.g. Hub spot and Salesforce)
    • Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, and exceptional organizational skills
    • Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced start-up environments
    • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
    • Must speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
    • Must reside in HK



    Requirements
    Relevant professional experience within an e-commerce, retail merchandising, wholesaling, or category management role Experience working with top phone and popular electronics brands and scaling new businesses Adequate knowledge of the Online Marketplace and the Ecommerce Industry Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (Hubspot) Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, and exceptional organizational skills Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environments Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
