- Promote TP ICAP group
- Ensure timely and accurate input of trades into trading systems and meeting the clients service level (SLA) on trade confirmations
- Resolve any trade queries received internally and externally, and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
- Keep trade records & blotters up to date
- Ensure EOD completenessUpdate real-time electronic whiteboards with market data and price quotes
- Crossing positions in the markets and ensure allocations are done and picked up by clients by EOD trade date
- Error trades, Unclaimed positions and/or Margin Calls escalation on Trade Date, and report LOP to Compliance
- Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders
- Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis
- General administrative duties across the desk
- Monitor markets, keep up to date with financial news and geo-political events that impact the financial markets.
- Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business or any other related discipline.
- Keen interest and passion in the financial markets and the economy
- Hard working and willingness to learn
- Build relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possible
- Strong VBA/ Python programming skills
- Either successfully passed or willing to sit for the SFC license type 1 examination
- Handles situations and problems effectively with proactivity and initiatives
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively with others
- Seeks opportunities for improvements
- Demonstrates high levels of energy in seeking out and achieving new goals
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, can keep emotions under control in difficult situations

Role Overview
The Equity Derivatives desk is seeking a Desk Assistant to join their Hong Kong team. This is an entry level role into the world of Broking and this opportunity can provide the successful applicant with on-the-job training and exposure to the financial markets we operate within. We are ideally looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual that can work autonomously and collaboratively in a small team and can think on their feet.
