YUXIN WEN

I gained my Bachelor's degree in BEd English Language Education Programme at the Education University of Hong Kong and currently am taking an MSc - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Glasgow. 

I used to work as an intern English teacher at a local secondary school. This year, I functioned as a student committee volunteer recruitment coordinator for the English Language Internationalization Network (ELINET) at the University of Glasgow. 

I am familiar with integrating multiple online technologies in English classrooms, including Edpuzzle, BookCreator, NearPod, et ceteras. I am into fencing and archery in my spare time. 

This year, I worked as a student committee volunteer recruitment coordinator for the English Language Internationalization Network at the University of Glasgow. My duties are recruiting volunteers for the 1st conference of ELINET, promoting the conference through small speeches and social media, preparing for conference site settings, and hosting presentations both online and in-person.

In 2021, I worked as an intern English teacher at Mu Kuang English School, preparing lesson plans that meet teaching objectives and are in line with curriculum goals, designing papers, selecting appropriate books, learning materials, instructional aids as needed, and designing content and materials for students’ monthly English corner video.
