Suet Ying Chu

I am a diligent and ambitious graduate with a great passion for the education industry and I am currently seeking a full-time position in the industry in which I can apply my knowledge and related experience, ultimately benefiting the institution that I work for. Through meeting pupils from different backgrounds, I perceive myself as a caring and patient person toward people, especially young children. 

During my studies, I developed a strong foundation in English grammatical concepts and some important theories about second language acquisition, which I have applied to real-world problems through working as a private tutor. With this experience, I learned how to provide a personalized guidance to students, design educational exercises, and prepare comprehensive study materials. It allowed me to consolidate and enhance my subject knowledge, while also honing my ability to tailor my teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.

Furthermore, I had the opportunity to intern at Otis Elevator Company (H.K.) Limited in the Business Partner Team of the Human Resources Department. During my internship, I actively supported the HR department in driving employee engagement initiatives and contributed to the planning and implementation of various activities. This experience has deepened my understanding of administrative practices and reinforced my passion for fostering a positive work environment.
