Kathy Chan

I am a year2 student from school of business and management from HKUST. I like jogging and reading books in my spare time. I think I am an outgoing and extrovert girl. I like work with different people and have a strong passion in learning how to work better before I really get my fresh graduate job. I usually believe that a well-prepared person can grab all the chances! I wish I could try working in different of workplace to get ready of my career job. Recently, I am interested in typing code, fintech and accounting. I wish I could learn more about these and hope to develop a deeper interest in these. As I mentioned, I am an sociable girl, I am good at communication, collaboration. On the other hand, I am confident in doing individual work too. I can speak fluent English, Putonghua and Cantonese. I am also good at writing. 

I joined 3 case competitions before, including HKICPA case competition, HKFBS Venture case competition and HSBC global private banking case challenge. I worked with my groupmates and finally entered in some finals. Although I did not win in the finals but I also know about my weaknesses and opportunitie. On the other hand, I also worked in a non-government organisation from HKUST, ForeSee as a human resource assistant. I act as a bridge between different teams and ensure every member are fine with their workload. I am responsible to hold some team-bonding activities and prepare meeting agenda, minutes etc. 

I am studying a Bachelor degree of BBA in HKUST. I think it is a excellent place for me to pursue my career since the grading system is strict so it can drive me to be more hard-working tho.
