I am an ESL teacher with almost four years of teaching experience. Teaching has been my passion ever since I started working with children. Before I became a teacher, I worked part-time in various sectors for example, volunteering at church with children and I have also worked with NGOs as a program worker for ethnic minorities and as a training officer. Since entering the field of education, I have grown to truly love what I do. Building relationships with children, being able to not only teach but also inspire them with the knowledge we share, and forming deep, meaningful connections which made me realize how much I genuinely love teaching. Most of all, I love teaching English! My faith in God motivates me to inspire this generation. I want to help children not only learn a new language but also discover how beautiful and powerful it is. Language is not just an academic requirement; it's an essential tool for communication and building connections. As an ESL teacher, I have experience teaching native Chinese students. Most of my students have been Cantonese speakers from Hong Kong, while some have been Putonghua (Mandarin) speakers.

I hope to further develop my career, grow both personally and professionally, and continue exploring my passion for teaching. I am excited to contribute meaningfully to the lives of my students while deepening my understanding of cross-cultural education. Since I started teaching, I've really enjoyed my work. I love building relationships with kids, inspiring them, and forming meaningful connections. This has made me realize how much I truly enjoy teaching!

I have taught preschoolers, kindergarteners, and both primary and secondary school students over the past three years. I’ve also been consistently teaching phonics to kindergarteners for nearly four years. I focus on using engaging learning strategies—such as hands-on activities, mindfulness, storytelling, crafts, and music-to create age-appropriate educational experiences. 

I have worked on building a comprehensive reading and writing curriculum for students at various proficiency levels and have encouraged teamwork and collaboration among students. I typically manage classes of 6–8 students. My teaching methods include visual, motor, and varied learning techniques based on the needs of each class. For example, I have used PowerPoint presentations tailored to student needs, along with hands-on crafts and games, to create engaging lessons that help improve students’ phonics and language skills.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, where I built a strong foundation in HR principles, theories, and practices. I also had the chance to explore different training and development methods to help strengthen employee skills, knowledge, and performance.

I also hold a Higher Diploma in International Business Management, where I learned how to conduct market research and started to better understand international market trends and opportunities. During this time, I also began developing my communication skills-both written and spoken-especially in areas like cross-cultural communication and business negotiations.
