Gary Yu

I am a passionate, dedicated and goal-oriented individual eager to enter and stay professional in the BIM industry. With certifications in AutoCAD and Revit, I bring a solid technical foundation to my work. Currently pursuing a degree in Building Engineering and Management, I continue to enhance my expertise in Building Engineering. My roles as an Assistant Leveller and Licensed Salesperson have equipped me with strong technical and communication skills. Committed to learning and growing in the BIM field, I aim to contribute to high standards and efficient BIM workflows.

As an Assistant Leveller at B.S.C. Group Limited since January 2023, I assist the senior leveller in measuring and assessing the levelness of floors, walls and other surfaces using tools like laser levels and spirit levels. I also prepare and set up levelling equipment at worksites, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.

From April 2019 to September 2022, I worked as a Licensed Salesperson at Centaline Property Agency Limited. In this role, I negotiated offers and price agreements for clients, presented offers to landlords, and guided them through the negotiation process. I also arranged and conducted property viewings for potential buyers or tenants, showcasing property features and addressing their questions and concerns.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Buliding Engineering and Management on a part-time basis at the PolyU's School of Professional Education and Administrative Development. My first year I had a 3.43 GPA.

Prior to this, I completed an Associate Degree in Information Technology at HKCC PolyU, graduating with a GPA of 3.10. The program provided me with a solid technical foundation that complemented my current studies and professional experience.
