By way of background, I am a HK and UK qualified practising lawyer currently working as an in-house legal consultant at Citigroup. I have submitted through your website’s application portal my resume with details of my experience and qualifications for your reference.

My current role requires me to work closely internally with our front-line and back-office personnel as well as externally with clients, regulators and law firms on a wide range of transactions, vetting their legal and compliance issues and managing any general matters that relate to the business as a whole.  

Not only has my career enabled me to gain experience in the finance and investment industries, it has also provided me considerable exposure and insights to the intricacies of the commercial aspects of various other industries as well as demonstrating the importance of the observance of compliance and regulatory policies.

As you will note, my experience has primarily been in the finance and banking sectors. I believe that with my legal knowledge, exposure and skillsets gained in the past two decades, coupled with my continued experience as an independent non-executive director of a HK-listed company and a member of the guidance committee of the HK Law Society, I am able to meaningfully contribute to your company to ensure its continued success and development in the region.
